What it is

Liquid is a Bitcoin sidechain run by a federation of exchanges and companies. Bitcoin is pegged in to become L-BTC, transactions confirm in about a minute, amounts and asset types are hidden by Confidential Transactions, and other assets (stablecoins, securities) can be issued on the same chain.

This is an Electrum-style server for Liquid, built on the electrs fork that understands Elements transactions, so Liquid wallets can query balances and history without running an Elements node.
